Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you allow dogs?

Yes. One per site provided it is not left unattended. All dogs must be on a leash.

2. Are your campsites located on the water?

Camp Overflow is located directly on the Otis Reservoir. We do have a private beach and marina on the water; our campsites are a short walk to the water.

3. Do you allow power boats?

Yes. Our private boat ramp can handle boats up to 20 feet in length.

4. Do you have docking available?

Yes. But space is limited, so reservations are recommended.

5. Do you have bathrooms and hot showers?

Yes. All of our bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets and the two main bathrooms are also equipped with private hot showers.

6. Do you have full hookups?

Many sites are available with power and water, but there are no sewer hookups. We do have a dumping station as well as a pumping service available on Wednesday & Thursday.

7. Do you accept credit cards?

No. Currently there is no credit card service available, there is however an automated teller machine in the camp store.

8. Do you rent boats?

Yes. We rent rowboats and canoes. We also have 6 horsepower motors that may be rented for the rowboats or you may mount your own motor up to 10 horsepower.

9. Do you take reservations?

Yes. Reservations are always recommended especially during peak holiday periods. The office hours are from 9:00am to 8:00pm eastern time.
